Description
This Stile overlooks one of the many farmsteads that are across the area of West Penwith, I have climbed it many times, through snow and the heat of a summers evening, sometimes I have to negotiate cows through the fields either side of it but so far they seem to find eating the grass more interesting than me 🙂 ( I’m a bit wary of Cows after being chased on Bodmin Moor by a herd)
This was captured during early evening & I had to wait till just the right moment before the light left and the Ferns were thrown into evening shadow. I have painted Ferns many times now and find them fascinating if not very challenging to paint.
This Original is framed using Ash and is mounted using a deep bevel mount and Peterboro Conservation Mountboard.
The Image size is 241 x 341 and framed measures approx 394 x 496mm
