Description
This particular idea had been on my mind for quite some time, and after many, many visits I decided on this particular view. Spring Tides are always my favourite times of the year as what they reveal is always pretty exciting as no two are ever the same. This tide occurred during Spring so the light can be tricky to capture at this time of year but always creates some interesting shadows & atmosphere.
I knew what I wanted to achieve but having never done water quite as deep as this it certainly had me thinking for along time about how I was technically going to achieve it, having decided to take the plunge, no pun intended, I was so happy with the final outcome and a real learning experience which I will take into future works. It took many, many hours and some very sore fingers due to capturing the ruggedness of all the rocks & seaweed but its definitely a subject/location i’ll be returning to.
