This is a stunning necklace and has to be seen to be believed! She has been inspired by Jackie Morris’s book of the same name and I have been so lucky in being allowed to make this piece that is illustrated in the magical book.
I have used Sleeping Beauty Turquoise from Arizona, the mine is now closed so I have been very lucky in getting this stone to work with. It is a natural stone with no colour treatment and no stabilisation which is so rare for turquoise.I have also used on this one tiny AAA grade grey Moonstones. I have hand made nearly all the charms on this piece including all of the stars except the one at the end of the extender chain! and the flying bear is in silver and gold and the sun is silver and Mokuma Gane.
