Description
This is my latest painting and the largest I have done to date. It proved also to be one of the most technically difficult I have ever done, the combination of a Rainbow, of which I’ve never painted before, and shimmering rippled water certainly gained me a whole new learning experience. The day I captured this was one of those blustery showery days typical of November, with Wellies on and an ever eye on the turning tide it was a matter of being patient and waiting for the next shower band to roll in, the Rainbow that appeared was a very subtle one but the soft colours seems to radiate out of the cliffs beside Wheal Coates so its position couldn’t have been better.
The original is now back from the printers and very pleased with it, i’m currently getting together the logistics to be able to post this as a full size print, details of size, & price will be updated soon. When prints are available it will appear in Gallery 2 in both full/large & reduced sizes.
The Original is now SOLD
